Calhoun County is located in South Western Michigan. Popular Geographic features include the Kalamazoo River, Battle Creek River and the St. Joseph River which connects to Lake Michigan. Calhoun is made up of over 70 cities, villages and other unincorporated communities.
Bedford Charter Township is located in the northwest corner of Calhoun County. North of Kalamazoo River and Battle Creek Michigan. There are four school districts serving the area, Pennfield, Battle Creek, Gull Lake and Hastings. The Township boasts several parks for recreational activities and family picnics. Bedford also has multiple streams and creeks, which provide access for fishing and recreational water activities.
