Berrien County is a county on the south line of Michigan, at the southwestern corner of the state. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 154,316. The county seat is St. Joseph.
Benton Harbor, MI - Berrien County
Benton Harbor is located in Berrien County, the U.S. Michigan. It is located 46 miles southwest Kalamazoo, and 71 miles southwest Grand Rapids. It had a population of 10,038 according to the 2010 Census. It is the smaller of the two major cities in the Niles Harbor Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area has 156,813 residents. Benton Harbor, along with the city of St. Joseph, are separated by the St. Joseph River, are locally known as the "Twin Cities". Fairplain is an unincorporated area adjacent to Benton Harbor.
